Our owners grew up here. Moss is their hometown salon, built downtown on West 7th and run by a crew that has stuck together for years.
Our story
Two friends from Eugene.
Moss started with two life-long friends who grew up in Eugene and happened to share a love of style. They combined their instincts to build the kind of salon they wanted to work in: a place where stylists and clients could find and express their style, without the pretense.
Our logo is a slice of Northwest wood, and its rings say what we care about most: time, growth, and things that last.
Every ring is a year. We've been adding them together for a long time.

The owners aren't the only ones with history here. Most of the Moss crew has known each other for years, and stylists who come to Moss tend to stay.

Because our crew stays put and our clients do too, many of our stylists' books are full and some have a wait for new guests. We'd rather be upfront about that than rush anyone.
