Mikey has cut hair for more than 13 years. He has worked in Portland, taught on stages as far away as Australia, and spent his Nashville years cutting for a few well-known faces around town. He moved to Eugene to be close to family.

He is known for short hair: fades, clipper cuts, textured crops, and pixie-to-bob shapes. He cuts and styles long hair too. So whether your hair is short, long, or somewhere in the middle, you’re in the right chair. Bring the whole family. You can all book the same stylist.

Where you’ll find me when I’m not at the studio: With my wife and kids, or on a plane somewhere teaching. If there’s a free afternoon in between, probably fishing.

Little known fact about me: Before Eugene, I spent years as a traveling hair educator, teaching other stylists how to cut on stages from the U.S. to Australia. So if I over-explain what I’m doing to your hair, now you know why.

Favorite day of the week: Any day off with my family. A close second is a fully booked day behind the chair.

Favorite quote: “Boring pays the bills.” It means a haircut that works every morning beats a flashy one you can’t do yourself at home.

My style idol is: Less a person, more a standard. The barbers and stylists who do clean, steady work for years without needing to go viral for it.
